Autocar’s review of the Renault Zoe, Peugeot e-208 and e-Mini should make compelling reading for petrol heads and fans of BEVs alike. Yes Autocar crown a winner (the e-208), but all three cars are clearly hugely desirable in their own right.

Many of you will not consider a petrol or diesel car, and that’s fine, but arguably these cars will appeal to people who previously would not have considered a BEV. They appeal on their own merits, as being (relatively) affordable, fun, convenient and highly desirable.

To me the range issue, on cars like these, is less acute. Who wants to travel more than 140 miles in a mini anyway? Its not what they are for.
