There are, of course, different perspectives here, and there may even be some that will see this as an attack on BEV. But it is not, its a plea for pragmatism.
Hybrids are improving quickly and clearly have a role to play in cutting emissions here and now. Longer term other technologies, like Hydrogen, will also have a role to play. BEV simply can’t get there on its own, not by 2030 or even 2035, if we want everyone to have full access to affordable private transport.
