I’d read before about Mazda’s MX-30 with its “right sized” battery of just 35.5KwH. However, I hadn’t read of the plan for a “range extender” using a rotary ICE. I think that is particularly exciting (and I want one!)
This is an area where people can disagree, and boy do they disagree. But for me it’s simple; this is supposed to be about what’s best for the planet whilst still allowing freedom of movement for all. OEMs should be forced to reveal lifetime emissions and then we can judge what is low emission and what’s just environmental flim-flam.
