After years of arguing, Brexit is getting very real. We understand BMW have announced an increase in RRP of just over £3,000 effective 1 January on the I3. This is due to changes in the “Product Specific Rules of Origin” legislation pertaining to the maximum permitted content of non-EU and non-UK materials, and applies whether or not a trade deal is in place with the EU.

Speculation of course on my part, but is this because of the value of the batteries and will we be seeing the same on other “EU” sourced EVs and maybe PHEVs?
