Hyundai to replace 82,000 batteries in EV recall

BEV, Company Cars

This is big news isn’t it? Is it a complete replacement of 82,000 batteries or can they be repaired and reused?

In 2019 the UK registered 38k BEVs in total, in 2020 is was 108k. So 82k replacement batteries is a huge number, and presumably a massive logistical challenge?

And in the meantime, how safe are these cars to use?
